Not surprisingly, Amazon and Walmart are leading the way, not just in sales but also in website traffic and app usage.<br /><br />Amazon continues to be the top player, with an average of 390 million people visiting its website every month (Oct–Dec 2024). Walmart comes in second with 166 million visitors, followed by eBay (106M), Target (96M), and Etsy (86M). These platforms attract millions thanks to their unique features and large product selections.<br /><br />When it comes to mobile apps, Amazon dominates again with 255 million monthly users. However, Temu—a newer shopping app—is gaining ground with 69 million users. It was even the most downloaded app in the U.S. in 2024.<br /><br />Despite Temu’s fast rise, it’s now facing challenges.
