India’s AI-Powered EV Startup Launches First-Ever Safest & Most Trusted Ride-Hailing for Kids
MetroRide Kids, a Bengaluru-based startup, is launching India’s first, safest, and most trusted transportation service for children aged 5-16. The app-based service, which began operations in Hyderabad, is set to expand to Bengaluru soon. With the increasing demands on parents’ time and the need for safe transportation solutions, MetroRide Kids aims to provide a secure and reliable way for children to travel.

The service partners with parents, hires trained drivers, and equips vehicles with live CCTV monitoring, GPS tracking for real-time location updates, and geofencing to ensure vehicles stay within designated areas. The safety of children is prioritized from the moment they step into the vehicle, with an SOS button, rapid response team, and vehicle immobilizers for emergencies. Additionally, advanced AI systems monitor driver behavior to promote safe driving practices.

Founded by Kaaman Agarwal and Girish Nagpal, MetroRide Kids is a subsidiary of MetroRide, known for providing last-mile connectivity in Bengaluru and Hyderabad since 2020. The company operates a fleet of electric autos and cars, building a strong reputation for quality and reliability.

MetroRide Kids offers both shared and private ride options with flexible subscription plans to meet diverse family needs. It also addresses the growing concern about road safety for children, citing a national study by WRI that highlights the lack of action on school commute safety and road safety education.

MetroRide Kids aims to be a game-changer in ensuring children’s safety during their daily commutes, making it the most trusted transport service for families.
