Nothing has officially launched its most advanced and premium smartphone to date — the Phone (3). This latest device marks the company’s bold entry into the flagship segment, aimed at competing with tech giants like Apple, Samsung, and Google.

The Phone (3) brings a fresh redesign and improved hardware while maintaining the brand’s signature transparent aesthetic. Instead of the traditional light strips used in earlier models, the rear of the phone now features a Glyph Matrix — a circular, dot-matrix-style LED display that allows users to set timers, play mini-games, view notifications, and customize visual alerts.

The handset boasts a 6.67-inch AMOLED LTPO display with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. It’s protected by Gorilla Glass Victus and rated IP68 for water and dust resistance. Under the hood, the device runs on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, paired with either 12GB RAM and 256GB storage or 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.

Camera capabilities have also seen a significant upgrade, with the Phone (3) featuring a quad 50MP camera setup including a periscope telephoto lens offering up to 60x digital zoom, as well as a 50MP front camera.

On the battery front, it houses a 5,150mAh silicon-carbon battery, supporting 65W fast wired charging and 15W wireless charging. The device runs on Nothing OS 3.5, based on Android 15, and the company has promised five years of major Android updates and seven years of security patches.

AI plays a central role in the new user experience. A dedicated Essential Key launches Essential Space, an AI hub for productivity tools such as smart voice memos, transcriptions, summaries, and reminders. A new Essential Search feature also offers system-wide smart search capabilities with natural language input.

Alongside the smartphone, Nothing introduced its first over-ear headphones, Headphone (1), designed in collaboration with KEF. These feature spatial audio, active noise cancellation, and up to 35 hours of battery life, priced at $299.

The Phone (3) will be available for pre-order starting July 4, with official sales beginning July 15 in key markets including the U.S., UAE, India, and Canada. Prices start at $799 for the 256GB model and $899 for the 512GB version.

The Phone (3) reflects Nothing’s ambition to reshape the flagship phone market by blending high-end specs, unique design, long-term software support, and AI-driven experiences — all at a price that undercuts many competitors.
