The innovative startup triumphed over 2,000 competitors, winning a $250,000 cash prize for its groundbreaking approach to student financing. EduFi simplifies the loan process by conducting its own credit evaluations, covering tuition costs for eligible students, and offering flexible repayment options during their studies.
The startup’s success at the Rocket Fuel Pitch Competition, which featured a platform for startups to pitch their ideas to global investors, marks a significant milestone as it becomes the first Pakistani startup to claim victory in this international contest. EduFi’s founder and CEO, Aleena Nadeem, an MIT graduate with experience at top-tier institutions like McKinsey and Goldman Sachs, accepted the award at the Riyadh ceremony.
